Polymorphism connects families with vetted agencies and gives agencies shared tooling for intake and capacity. We are not a single employer of record for caregivers — agency partners remain responsible for staffing and supervision unless you agree otherwise in writing.
Intake & matching
Use the guided forms at Intake (family, agency, or payer paths). Your answers are sent securely to our team; we reply by email. Matching with specific agencies still depends on their capacity and clinical criteria.
Fees & billing
Marketplace fees (if any), government program coverage, and private-pay rates depend on your zone, program, and agency. We publish fee logic where we control it; agency invoices may include separate line items. For current rates, see your quote or ask the agency directly.
Who does what
Polymorphism operates the platform and orchestration layer. Partner agencies deliver regulated services and employ or contract caregivers. You choose providers and authorize sharing of information needed to coordinate care.
Service expectations
Response times, visit frequency, and escalation paths are defined per agency and should appear clearly before you commit. If something is missing from a profile, ask the agency directly and request it be reflected on-platform.
Common questions
- Is this a substitute for Alberta Health Services? No. Public programs have their own queues and rules; we may interoperate where allowed.
- Do you employ nurses in my home? Typically no — the agency you select does. Polymorphism coordinates information and workflow.
